Boehlke, William “Ted”

NAPLES, Fla. – William “Ted” Boehlke, of Naples, Fla. (formerly of Madison), passed away peacefully on Aug. 31, 2021, losing his battle with COVID.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughters, Lisa (Jon) Sherven and Tricia Boehlke; and his two beloved grandsons, Mason and Miles Kuluvar. He also leaves behind his brother, Bob (Kay) Boehlke; his sister, Liz Enger; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eleanor Boehlke; and brothers, Peter and Jim.

Ted taught in the Madison Public Schools for 34 years until his retirement in 1999.

His favorite pastimes were bowling, golfing (especially with his grandsons), going to Badgers basketball games, cooking and gardening… primarily at his mountain condo in Colorado where he spent many summers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs, American Diabetes Association, National Kidney Foundation or Donate Life Florida.
