United Way announces new board members | West Orange Times & Observer

Heart of Florida United Way has elected four new community leaders to the 2021-22 Board of Directors, bringing the total number of community representatives to 39.

Serving a three-year term are Heidi DeBenedetti, of Winter Park, executive vice president at Gilbane Building Company; Humberto Hormaza, of Maitland, senior vice president and general manager of Entravision Communications Orlando; Karmyn Norwood, of Winter Garden, deputy vice president of sensors and global sustainment and vice president of rotary wing and ground programs for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control; and Chad Wilson, of Apopka, Publix Supermarkets district manager – Jacksonville Southern region.

“Each of these community leaders – and the companies they represent – has a passion for the Central Florida community and helping those in need,” said Jeff Hayward, president and CEO of Heart of Florida United Way. “Their collective talent and diverse backgrounds in business provide greater depth, insight and leadership as United Way continues to address the critical needs for our community.”
