The City of West Palm Beach Introduces the Enterprise Permitting and Licensing System (EPL) for Streamlined Planning and Permitting Processes

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The City of West Palm Beach is pleased to announce the launch of its new online planning and permitting system, The Enterprise Permitting and Licensing System (EPL). The EPL system is a comprehensive, web-based portal that revolutionizes the way residents and their agents interact with the City’s Development Services divisions, including Planning and Zoning, Code Enforcement, and Building Division.

Starting June 26, 2023, the City of West Palm Beach will transform the traditional in-person processes into efficient and user-friendly online experiences. With the implementation of the EPL system, residents and their agents will have the convenience and flexibility to apply for permits, manage plan approvals, and oversee permitting processes from the comfort of their homes or offices.

The EPL system has been meticulously developed to cater to the diverse needs of West Palm Beach residents. By leveraging this cutting-edge technology, the City aims to streamline operations and enhance accessibility, ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

The implementation of the EPL system has been a significant undertaking for the City of West Palm Beach, involving multiple departments and hundreds of staff hours. The dedicated efforts of our team have ensured a smooth transition from traditional paper-based systems to this state-of-the-art online platform. Decades of vital records have been meticulously transferred to the new system, guaranteeing the continuity and preservation of essential information.

The City of West Palm Beach is committed to leveraging technology to improve the quality of services provided to our residents. With the launch of the EPL system, we are embracing the future of planning and permitting, making it easier and more convenient for our community to navigate these processes.
