America’s “Best Farmers Market” is back, touting title for a third consecutive year and as the biggest yet

Who:                     City of West Palm Beach

                              Residents and visitors of all ages

What:                   In celebration of the return of the West Palm Beach GreenMarket season, the City of West Palm Beach will kick off the 29th season with a special opening day ceremony. The interactive visual will feature a fun activity and remarks from City Commission to signify the start of the season.

The GreenMarket has much to celebrate this year, starting with this year’s theme, “Here We Grow Again,” which is a nod to the Market’s year-over-year growth and expanded offerings, including two times the musical entertainment, more weekly workshops and a new and exciting Master Chef Showcase competition. The season opener will also celebrate the GreenMarket’s notable national recognition as the “Best Farmers Market” in the U.S. for three consecutive years via USA TODAY’s 10Best.

This year’s market has grown to include 125 vendors — 30 of which are new. The 30 new vendors are:

  • Authentic Korean Kitchen, Azme Taco, Brooklyn Cupcake, CasaPan Healthy Artisian and Vegan Bread, Casa Truffle, Catherine’s Clean Skincare, Coastal Clay, Coconut Bar, Coley’s Crumbs, Creamed Honey Co., , Earl’s Slow And Low BBQ, Falinda’s Produce, Farmerboxmeal, Fruitful Society Mushrooms, Heavenly Green, Heavenly Soap Company, Hive Bakery & Café, Kcee Nursery, Little Torch Candle Company, Lo’s Pie Shop, La Strada, Mama Chana, Palm Beach Salt Co., Rancher’s Reserve, Rosa Ice Cream, Sugar Coat It Bakery, Sylvia’s Sweets, The Kookie Box, The Native Bird, The Stand by Palmtrees & Popcorn and Whispering Oak Kombucha.

When:                  Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023
                             
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. OF NOTE: a visual Opening Day Ceremony will occur at approximately 10:15a.m. on the Great Lawn with City Commissioners.

Where:                 Great Lawn 100 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401

Public Information:         The GreenMarket will take place every Saturday from October 7, 2023, through April 20, 2023, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (except March 23, 2024, due to the Palm Beach International Boat Show).

Admission to the GreenMarket is free. Dogs on short leashes are allowed. Parking is available in the City of West Palm Beach’s public garages, which are the Clematis, Banyan, City Center, Sapodilla and Evernia garages. The Banyan and Evernia garages are closest to the event and are subject to the City’s all-day weekend flat rate of $5. The City Center, Clematis and Sapodilla garages will be free during market hours, with current parking rates in effect afterward. Those interested in arriving by boat can also take advantage of the City’s free public docks. The Clematis Street Dock is the closest dock to the market.
