Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Community Garden at Coleman Park

                        Florida A&M University Cooperative Extension (FAMU)
                        US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)

 WHAT:             In partnership with FAMU and HUD, the City of West Palm Beach will host a ribbon cutting for a community garden to benefit Coleman Park and surrounding communities. As a result of the FAMU Cooperative Extension, this is the first of three gardens that will provide essential programs and fresh produce in an area considered a “food desert.” FAMU will oversee the operations, food production, and workshops.

                         The FAMU Cooperative Extension will continue its outreach by providing West Palm Beach residents with the tools and resources to live healthier lives.
