Northwood Village Joins Nationwide Celebration of Small Business Saturday

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – As part of the thriving Shop Small Movement, Northwood Village proudly announces its participation in Small Business Saturday on November 25, 2023. This annual event, initiated by American Express in 2010, encourages communities across the Nation to support local businesses.

Since its inception, Small Business Saturday has witnessed a collective consumer spending of approximately $163 billion at small businesses during all 12 combined occasions.

The City of West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency aims to harness this positive momentum in Northwood Village to spotlight CRA dollars at work. This CRA district has become a major small business hub and continues to thrive with each year. The goal of this event is to celebrate its local business champions, contributing to the overall vibrancy and prosperity of the community and provide important information on current CRA projects in the area for citizens to shop, support small, and learn about what is to come.

“The Northwood Village businesses are run by our neighbors and friends, who work hard all year to provide everything from necessities to sweet gifts meant to put a smile on someone’s face. Let’s come together to celebrate our small businesses as we enter the holiday season.” Cathleen Ward, Commissioner, District 1.

On November 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Northwood Village invites residents and visitors alike to join the #SmallBusinessSaturday, #ShopSmall movement. Come and enjoy music, food, and great deals! This initiative not only emphasizes the significance of supporting small businesses on this dedicated day but also encourages ongoing patronage throughout the year.

This will make our 7th year participating in Shop Small Saturday and are excited to be part of The Historic Northwood Village Community with the boho, eclectic vibe. Be sure to stop by Day by Day to shop and sip. We are offering free peach bellinis as well as a free gift with purchase.”
Will Davis, Owner of Day By Day Shoppe.
