Presented free by the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Florida Access Coalition for the Arts (FLACA) and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts
*All Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs General Operating Support Grant Recipients are required to attend at least one day of this exciting and informative summit (ADV, DAN, FEST, HCJ, MCI and YAM)* Workshop attendees will receive a certificate of participation for their organization to submit with their upcoming grant applications to the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.

Tourism Advancement Program – Second Period Projects
Consultation Deadline: August 7, 2015
Submission Deadline: November 30, 2015, by 3:00 pm
The MBVCA is currently accepting grant applications for special events, promotions, activities and festivals which will stimulate tourism by increasing hotel occupancy and will have significant media impact for Miami Beach between February 1, 2016 and May 31, 2016 in the following categories: Special Events Recurring and Special Projects Recurring.
Eligibility into each grant category requires approval by the MBVCA Administrator. Interested applicants must meet with MBVCA Administration by Friday, August 7, 2015. Applications must be submitted for corrections by Monday, November 30, 2015, by 3:00 pm. Technical Fellowship Program: 2015 Application

Miami Light Project launched TFP in 2012 as a technical training intensive that supports the professional development of Miami-based designers and technicians. By training, mentoring and allowing technicians to work in a multi discipline arts venue we are building an innovative design and technical community unique to Miami. Annually, 10 – 15 fellows are selected for this initiative. In addition to a free workshop and training bootcamp, the fellows receive time in The Light Box to work with various technologies, full production support & professional development assistance.
Through TFP, Miami Light Project has developed more than 40 South Florida-based technicians and designers. Over 20 of those fellows have gone on to work in multiple venues in South Florida, New York, and Los Angeles.

The Miami Herald’s annual Season of the Arts preview section will be published Sept. 13. Submit your 2015-2016 lineup information no later than July 31, 2015 to seasonofthearts@miamiherald.com.
Submissions should include the following:
- The full name and address of your arts organization (mailing and performance address, if different, with ZIP codes), along with web address (and any Facebook/Twitter information).
- Title of each production, concert or exhibition, along with opening/closing dates.
- Phone number to call for tickets and information.
- If you have one color photo in high-resolution .jpg format, send it as an attachment with your email. Each photo must have complete caption information, with the name of the photographer, or it won’t be used.
