West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James was Recognized with the “but for Leadership Florida” Award from Leadership Florida

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Mayor Keith A. James has been honored with the prestigious “but for Leadership Florida” Award, presented by Leadership Florida. This esteemed award recognizes Mayor James as a distinguished member of Leadership Florida who has utilized the knowledge and relationships gained through his Leadership Florida experiences to significantly enhance the lives of fellow Floridians and create transformative moments for the community.
Mayor James has the vision to create a “Community of Opportunity for All” whereby all citizens can achieve their goals. He also established the Mayor’s Task Force for Racial and Ethnic Equality. These, among other initiatives from his term, demonstrate exceptional leadership and dedication in his efforts to drive positive change and make a lasting impact on the residents of West Palm Beach. Through his active involvement and commitment to Leadership Florida, Mayor James has leveraged his acquired insights to implement innovative strategies and initiatives that have elevated the quality of life for residents, bolstered economic development, and fostered a thriving community.
In recognition of his outstanding achievements, Leadership Florida will make a generous donation of $2,500 to an organization of Mayor James’ choosing, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors. This contribution will further support the ongoing efforts of the selected organization in making a difference in the lives of Floridians and advancing the goals of the community.
