Local Businesses, WPBPD, and Cotton Bottom Diaper Bank Unite to Distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving Turkeys to Needy Families

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The City of West Palm Beach is proud to highlight the collaboration between the community and local businesses that is making a significant impact on those facing food insecurities during the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. 

For the third consecutive year, Safebound Moving and Storage, a local business in West Palm Beach, is joining forces with the West Palm Beach Police Department (WPBPD) and the Cotton Bottom Diaper Bank to provide ,1000 turkeys to families in need. This heartwarming initiative aims to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

WHAT: Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway – Distributing 1,000 Turkeys

WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, from 9 a.m. to noon or until supplies run out

WHY: Addressing food insecurities in our community

Mike Greco, founder of Safebound Moving & Storage, expressed his commitment to giving back to the community, stating, “The community is here for us as business owners, and we need to be here for the community when they need us.”

Officer Seth Buxton from the WPBPD emphasized the importance of community partnerships in building and strengthening trust within the City.
