Vegetation Amnesty Days are to be held from April 24 to May 5
In preparation for the 2023 Hurricane season, City of West Palm Beach residents are encouraged to place an unlimited amount of vegetative waste curbside for pickup on your regularly scheduled pickup days at no additional cost from Monday, April 24 to Friday, May 5, 2023.
Vegetation includes grass clippings, leaves, tree, shrubbery cuttings or trimmings, broken or cut tree limbs and logs, and other vegetation incidental to the care of lawns and gardens.
The City is updating its Rethink Paradise Action Plan and is seeking public input to help improve and prioritize the plan.
The plan is designed to address resilience challenges that meet the community’s present needs while preserving resources for future generations; balancing human needs with the needs of our cultural and natural environments.
The Community Input Form will be available until June 30, 2023 and should take approximately 15 minutes to complete
A new class of recruits is now in training at the West Palm Beach Fire Department. The training is intense and comprehensive, which will prepare the trainees for their future in firefighting with the City of West Palm Beach.
