SENATOR ANNETTE TADDEO INVITES YOU TO COLOMBIA DAY 2022  IN TALLAHASSEE

In collaboration with the Colombian American Chamber of Commerce, State Senator Annette Taddeo (D-District 40), invites the Colombian-American community residing in Florida and their friends to participate in COLOMBIA DAY 2022. We will kick off this celebration with a welcome reception at the AC Hotel by Marriott on Tuesday, March 1st at 5:30 pm where all Florida legislators are our special guests. The Colombia Day celebration will be on Wednesday, March 2nd starting at 8:00am on the 22nd floor of the Capitol where there will be a sample of Colombian culture and arts in Florida, and a breakfast and lunch with its original flavors.

The event will serve as a platform to present to state senators and representatives the thriving and powerful Colombian community, one of the largest in the state, and one of the most economically, politically and culturally active.

COLOMBIA DAY 2022 seeks to highlight the importance that Colombians who find residence in Florida have acquired over time and who, as soon as possible, become US citizens, which gives them the power to influence political decisions. and in the economy of their country of origin, as well as their country of destination, as well as their descendants, many of them born in the United States.

Leaders and businessmen will hold meetings with the senators and elected representatives of their corresponding districts, with whom they will share the contributions they make and the needs they detect in their communities, in search of common points to enhance the contributions and contribute to economic growth, cultural exchanges and all kinds of opportunities.

Businesses, organizations, the media, and offices of elected officials have already expressed their support for COLOMBIA DAY 2022. Other businesses and organizations are invited to make their contributions to ensure the success of this endeavor.
