Ana Maria Rodriguez Elected Chair of Miami-Dade Legislative Delegation

Miami-Dade –Ana Maria Rodriguez (R- Homestead) was unanimously elected Chair of the 2021 Miami-Dade Legislative Delegation, the largest in the state, on December 7, 2020.

 

“My sincerest gratitude and appreciation to my Miami-Dade County Legislative Delegation colleagues for unanimously choosing me to serve as 2021 Chair,” Senator Rodriguez said. “I look forward to representing the citizens of Miami-Dade alongside Vice-Chair Dotie Joseph.”

 

Senator Rodriguez grew up in Miami, Florida. She is married and has two sons. This is Senator Rodriguez’ first term in the Florida Senate. She previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2018-2020.

 

Senate District 39 represents Monroe County and portions of Miami-Dade County including Florida City, Homestead and Sweetwater. Florida’s 2021 Legislative Session begins Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
