Information for the Press N°:

The Argentine Government hopes that the Interim President, Juan Guaidó, his family and collaborators peacefully return to Venezuela, without compromising their bodily integrity.

The safe return of the Interim President is essential to move forward with the roadmap laid out by the National Assembly in order to restore democracy, ensure respect for human rights and deal with the current humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.

In view of the events occurred on 23 February, Maduro’s regime will be held responsible for all acts of intimidation or violence against the Interim President, his family and inner circle, as another signal of its insistence on usurping power.
