The Argentine Foreign Ministry, together with the Italian Embassy and the Italian Foreign Trade Agency (ICE), organized more than 500 meetings between businesspersons from both countries in order to increase and diversify investment and trade, as well as to establish joint ventures to operate jointly in third-country markets.

The closing event took place today, with addresses by Italian Deputy Minister Iván Scalfarotto, the Secretary of International Economic Relations of the Argentine Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Cristina Boldorini, Secretary of Commerce Miguel Braun, the President of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, Federico Sturzenegger, and the President of the Argentine Industrial Union, Adrián Kaufmann Brea.
