Ribera Neumann, who took office on 13 June, visited Argentina for a bilateral working meeting and to participate in the Lima Group Meeting.
In a bilateral meeting held with Foreign Minister Jorge Faurie, the ministers discussed the main issues on the broad bilateral agenda, as well as matters of shared interest on the regional and international agenda.
They agreed on their willingness to continue and strengthen the policies that are being implemented on infrastructure and physical connectivity, and the commitments undertaken by the governments of both countries in the Binational Meeting of Ministers.
Furthermore, the Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the crisis affecting Venezuela, especially the migration situation in the country.
