Before the working meeting with his Brazilian counterpart, Foreign Minister Faurie held a courtesy meeting with President Temer at the Brasilia air base.
The meeting was also attended by the Brazilian Foreign Minister, Aloysio Nunes, the Argentine Secretary for International Economic Relations, Horacio Reyser, the Brazilian Ambassador to Argentina, Sérgio França Danese, and the Argentine Ambassador to Brazil, Carlos Magariños.
At the meeting, both sides agreed to set forth a meeting agenda to continue negotiations with the EU after the upcoming Summit of Heads of State to be held in the city of Mendoza, at which Argentina will hand over the Presidency Pro Tempore of Mercosur to Brazil.
