The man was arrested in Collier County after his agent found him almost unconscious behind the car at the intersection of Strand Boulevard and Immo Curry Road after taking fentanyl.
Congressman discovered that the license plate of Joshua Charles Hayes’ car had been stolen. They also found a safe in the car containing Haze’s personal information such as firearms, IDs, passports, debit cards, and car titles.
According to Collier County Security Officer, the safe contains dozens of black duty belts, black holsters, black knit gloves, camouflage face / head covers, bullet boxes, gun cleaning kits, and dozens of drugs used to transport. The office also included a small transparent bag.
Lawmakers describe Haze as a “violent criminal,” a “convicted felony criminal,” and a “documented gang member.”
Hayes was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm by a convicted serious offender.
